Rehabilitation Through Correspondence

Many prison inmates lose touch with friends and family. Often they go without mail for years. This site is their only way to meet friends. Prisoners are often locked in a cell 22 hours a day, they are very isolated even from other prisoners. This web site is devoted to them for their personal pages. It is designed to get prison inmates pen pals. We print your e-mail out and send it to the prison via snail mail then the inmate sends us a response, we type it in our computer and e-mail it, or snail mail it to you. In this way you do not need to give your home address to an inmate and may stay anonymous. This process takes a few weeks. You are encouraged to e-mail as many inmates as often as you like. The inmates are not allowed access to computers or even typewriters in some cases. We are the only web site that allows real inmates true access to the web. You may choose to directly mail, which is faster, and a little more private. All the inmates hope to mail you directly at some point. This site is updated daily. All the inmates on the site want mail, they are required to resubscribe every month, most are on the site for two or three months. In this way the web site stays current. You must be 18 or older to write anyone on this site.
