HELLO, my name is Joseph Maskins, but my friends call me "Little Joe". Please, allow me to introduce myself and tell you a little about myself. I am a 28 year young man, who has brown hair and brown eyes. I am 5' 5" tall, and 210 pounds (I am very well built!) I am a born again Christian man, who is always expanding his wisdom by and through the Word of God. I do not smoke, drink, nor do I use drugs!
My hobbies are reading, writing, drawing, working-out and educating myself in new things. My favorite color is baby blue. I love Italian food, especially pizza.
I became Certified as a Paralegal/Legal Assistant in 2002. Since then, I have spent a majority of my time and energy in assisting my fellow convicts in obtaining their freedom through the American Court system. I believe that we all can make a big difference if we just try to better ourselves and our surroundings. When I am not working on someone's case, I am spending my time wisely in learning new things and expanding my horizons. For example I am currently learning the Spanish language, in which I have always wanted to learn.
I am currently incarcerated in the California State Prison, unfortunately, for taking another person's life during a physical altercation. I have been incarcerated for the past ten (10) years, since my 18th birthday. Even though I was wrongfully convicted, I am moving forward in my life by improving myself and my surroundings in the best manner possible. My hope for the future is to prevent other kids from coming to prison, and to change their lives for the better. This is why I strongly believe that I was called to the youth ministry in this aspect.
I am looking for someone who I may be able to get to know and establish a meaningful relationship with. Someone who would want to share my hopes and dreams for the future. Someone who has the ambition to move forward and fight for what is right and just. I am a very lonely person who would love to write someone, so please write to me, because I would like to get to know everything about you and all of your hopes and dreams for the future.
