I realize beginning with a question is an odd way to make an introduction. However, knowing you've taken time to read these brief words that alone motivates me in wating to know who you are. It also tells me something about you. That you're caring and open to new experiences. See, we already have something in common! 
Instead of vague words left open-ended; I'll give you what I ask for in return, "honesty"!
Life's too short for e to try to convince you I'm someone I'm not. I can only be me. Right now, I'd like to get to know "you" the reader. For all your goodness as well as your faults. No one's perfect, my goal is simply friendship.
I'd like to meet someone I may confide in, enjoy stimulating conversation, and share laughter with. I'm not intimidated by independent/successful women. Nor above embracing one who has insecurities. I'll respect your trust, honor your loyalty, understand your self-worth, recognize your potential, and always have an ear to listen.
I've so many interests its impossible to list them in such a short ad yet I believe that what you've read already says alot about my sincerity. So I'm not going to try to sell myself. If I have to sell myself to you that means you're buying friendship and true friendship can't be bought! I'd love to hear from you. Please write soon. Your age/race is not an issue, just be you!
