My name is Henry and I am please to make your acquaintance, and I hope you are pleased to make mine. I am incarcerated at California State Prison Corcoran in Corcoran, California. I have been incarcerated for a large number of years for one moment of stupidity, but make no mistake I am truly a Man and as such I accept the responsibility for my actions. For all intents and purposes I have no family, they all left me when I came to jail and prison in November of 1986. My purpose in this letter is to meet some people who are truly caring, honest and beautiful on the inside as well as on the outside.
I enlisted in the United States Army on Sept. 09, 1971 and trained at the US Army Reserves Training Center in Fort Ord, CA., then served in the US Army Reserves European Theater in Frankfurt Germany where I was fortunate enough to travel around Germany, France, and Austria. When I transferred to the US Army Reserves Southern Command in Panama, Central America. Then I was transferred to the 7th Division at Fort Ord, CA where in July 29th, 1976 I Honorably discharged from the US Army. I received a GED while in the US Army and subsequently attended San Joaquin Delta Junior College where my major was Fire Science, I have had a number of various jobs and most of them I liked because they paid good! 
I learned to Cook when I was 5 years of age (because I was always hungry, and My Sisters did not want to learn to Cook!) So my favotire hobby is Cooking & Baking, I like Basketball, Football, Baseball, Weightlifting, Fishing and Camping, traveling by Air, Car and Train. Playing chess and other board games. Another hobby or I guess one could say job is doing legal work (Litigation Civil and Criminal, I am still working on my appeal!) I have the ability to listen and understand people, so I listen to people and I encourage them and pass them helpful information. Also when I have one I watch television mostly sports and action movies.
I am 49 years of age, born on June 17th, 1954 in Stockton, CA. I weigh 244 lbs., stand 5ft 11 inches and I have long black hair, brown eyes am of African American descent, Single and I have no diseases.
