A Poem Shared
A man I know, shared his poems with me
they all were open and deep
Some were of love which I know
and some were clearly meant
Some took a double reading to fully understand
and one of his poems would not make sense
if you did not know the man
I speak of, this man's poems shared with me
but only just to say, it's good to let people
see you in lights of a different way
because you never know when you see people
if their lights were off that day
I'm glad that man shared his poems with me
and now I share this one with you to see
Give youself another chance
to find or develope the positive in you
Anyone who can write, can write a poem or two
but not everyone who writes their poems
will share one with you
