My name is Eldridge, but everyone calls me "EL". I'm 5' 11", 204 lbs., 39 years old with brown eyes and a bald head. I keep my head bald by choice. 
I'm placing this ad to meet a mature woman who would be truly serious; about writing to me and developing a friendship. At this point in my life I really need a friend.
I'm starting on my 13th year of being incarcerated, and I've done each year alone. It's really been hard on me. Most people may think the physical part would be the hardest, but it's not, the mental part is the hardest. Without friends and family, I get really lonely.
So I'm taking a chance by placing this ad to meet a woman who is willing to share herself, thoughts, and dreams with a lonely guy who has no one to share his with. I hope if you are reading my ad, you will take a chance and give me a chance. I'm going to be here for a very long time, and it would be much easier if I had someone I could write to and talk about anything.
As of now, I read books and look out of my small window and stare at the wooded area to pass the time. I like to read Sci-Fi books and comedy, also books about other countries. Out of all this confusion and being in this cell 23 hours a day the books really help to take my mind off my situation; for a while at least. I'm hoping to meet someone and learn new things.
