My name is Eric. I'm looking for a pen pal. Race, age, religion, etc., don't matter. What matters are self esteem, intelligence and personality. I'm single (never married), disease and drug free, and both mentally and physically fit. I don't have any self destructive traits nor do I consider myself to be a bad influence upon others. Like any other decent-minded person I have my moral convictions. I am not religious, I am athiest.
I personally enjoy playing chess, writing short stories, and watching sci-fi programs. I particularly enjoy reading world history, but I also like to get into other subjects such as political science, science and both Theology and Philosophy.
I am a simple man. I understand that I'm responsible for my life (past and present). I'm very ambitious, however. I'm compassionate, warm, friendly, humorous (at times) and fiercely loyal to those close to me. I take myself serious and I'm determined to make something of my life. I strongly believe in education. If I'd have known what I know now when I was eighteen I wouldn't be in prison today, that's for sure!
My political views vary. Most black politicians would probably consider me to be too moderate, or possibly even Republican. In any case, if you're looking for someone with whom you can have an intelligent conversation and possibly build a solid friendship with, I'm your man. If you're equally as ambitious as I am then I'm definately the man for you. It could be that we have a long future together.
