Hello, my name is Kevin Smith and I'm currently serving a life sentence in the custody of the Federal Bureau of Prisons. What I'm looking for is a student of law that may be willing to take my case on as a class project. All expenses will be paid by me, I already have copies of the majority of documents concerning my case but I will provide for anything that I don't have that you may need.
My charges are as follows: Conspiracy to distribute 50 grams of crack/cocaine and two counts of sale/delivery. I can prove that the conspiracy that I was convicted on is not actually a conspiracy but I need professional help bringing this to the attention of the courts. I never sold/delivered any drugs to the undercover officer yet I was convicted of two counts of sale/delivery. I was accused of aiding/abetting but the courts never enclosed my indictment if I violated A or B of 18 U.S.C. section 2, I was never put on notice of my charge.
During my trial the judge instructed the jury that if they found that there is more than one conspiracy within this conspiracy then they must acquit. Since my trial and appeal I've obtained indictments of people who were in (my) conspiracy but were already convicted of their own (seperate) conspiracy, during same time frame. This alone constitutes multiple conspiracies.
