My name Dennis Edward Tate! Please allow me this oppotunity to introduce myself. I'm a black male from Memphis Tennessee, presently serving time in the state of Minnesota. This is a foreign land to me and I don't have friends, relatives or children here.
I hope to meet a female companion through corresponding this way! Via internet. All of which is new to me.
I'm here on an assault charge and I went to trial and received a thirteen year sentence, I do eight years ten months! I have three done already. Since the budget cuts have affected mst insitutions everywhere! It's only so much to be achieved in here educational wise and I've taken advantage of all the programs I can. So far I've completed high school! Receiving my GED diploma.
I have completed several other courses offered that may be helpful in the future towards seeking a degree of some kind. No organization has offered to pay for tuition as of yet! But, I'm not giving up either. One thing for sure! Obtaining a college degree while incarcerated would definately allow me to make a positive contribution after being release and increase my chances of becoming a successful businessman.
Anyhow! I'm not prejudice and don't have a certain preference to what color, creed, race or ethnic group you might belone to. However I do recommend that the female be kind, intelligent, nice and compassionate, and is willing to seriously become my companion by corresponding through mail, telephone calls, photos and possible visitation.
I'm familiar with the risk involved here! Opening ourselves up for success or possibly failure, I'm willing, I've taken the first step! Will you take the next? I'm lonely and looking for a companion - I need love to. All I can promise at this point is to be honest and open, and forthcoming.
I still share hopes, dreams, goals, and I'm human like any other human beng. I've been tried and convicted of assault in the court of law. I don't deny it; nor do I agree with how the outcome was, so I'm still fighting my case n "Post Conviction", to say the least.
No offense is meant but those of you afraid of taking the risk of maybe falling in love with a man in prison - need not waste each others time. Those who may be up to the challenge I'm definately looking forward to hearing from you soon.
