I don't have too much experience at this, but here goes: My name is Oluwatobi - Jay A. Taylor. I am an African American male in my late 30's who would like to start a friendship with a woman who is honest, caring, and sincere; someone who values these qualities as much as I do.
I am a born-again Christian (who remains open-minded towards all cultures and denominations) and a devoted father. My interests include spiritually motivating those around me to combat the perils of these dangerous times, as well as assisting my fellow exiles in transforming from being "just" convicted felons into responsible, loving individuals who are committed to escaping the sins of their pasts.
I am well aware of the fact that there are many sisiters out there who are afraid to chance a relationship with an incarcerated individual, but I am willing to guarantee you that I am committed to destroying all of these stereotypes. I want to show you that I am a genuine, loving, caring individual, not a stereotype that you may have read or heard about.
I am presently in search of companionship. A friend, a confidante, a soothing voice to comfort me when I need that special someone in my corner. Please don't let my faith in Christ prevent us from getting to know on another. My love for the Lord only proves that I should be open and loving towards all men - in this case, women (smile).
